2012 Awareness Theme:
Homeopathy from Conception to Birth & Beyond
Our 2012 theme, Homeopathy from Conception to Birth & Beyond,
focused on the many ways in which homeopathy can help with potential
difficulties involving infertility, pregnancy, childbirth, neonatal care. This theme
was supported by a variety of resource materials, some of which are listed below:
1. 2012 Poster.
2. Conception to Birth & Beyond Pamphlet.
3. Tip Sheets on how to hold a Meet & Greet, Open house, or library display.
4. Handouts: Information sheets and online articles
about homeopathy for issues ranging from conception to lactation.
5. Support Packages: Support materials were mailed to each
participant.
6. HAW Across Canada: This webpage listed all Homeopathy
Awareness events and promotions across Canada.
Again this year, members across the country held talks and mini-clinics on a variety of
topics covered by the general theme. Others sponsored
information booths at two Vaisakhi parades, a health fair, and an Earth
Day event.
Media coverage this year included "Pregnancy
Made Easier with Homeopathy" by El Cecchetto, RCSHom, published by Health
Action Network (HANS) in their quarterly magazine.
In Vancouver, our BC Affiliate, West Coast Homeopathic Society, sponsored a
two-day conference at the end of April, Homeopathy
for the Best Start in Life with Carole Summer, RCSHom, CCH.
