HOME   >>ABOUT CSH

The Canadian Society of Homeopaths is administered under the direction of an elected Board of Directors.  The Board also appoints special officers, committee heads, and special representatives to assist in the running of the Society.

CSH operates entirely by volunteers.  In this way, we can keep membership fees as low as possible and can focus our resources on projects that will provide a solid foundation for future CSH activities.

Our present administrative activities primarily involve Membership and Affiliates.

MEMBERSHIP

Our Membership Secretary is the most visible individual in the Society.  Her duties include – but are not limited to – membership support and the daily administration of the office.  MORE

AFFILIATES

CSH was designed to function as a national umbrella organization, working in cooperation with affiliated provincial and regional organizations.  The Affiliate programme is managed by our Vice-President.  MORE

COMMUNICATIONS

An on-going and key administrative function involves the development and dissemination of information for our members and the wider homeopathic community.  MORE

EXTENDED HEALTH INSURANCE

A priority for the CSH Board is to lay the groundwork for wide-spread acceptance of homeopathic treatment by the insurance industry.  Many insurance companies already recognize the RCSHom credentials of our Registered members by providing extended health benefits to their patients.  MORE

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Board members are elected by electronic and mail balloting by Voting members of the Society.  The Board meets by teleconference at least once per month and discusses other issues through e-mail correspondence.  MORE

ARCHIVES

A selection of administrative documents provide a chronicle of Society priorities and activities.  MORE
